Which are better for the mandarins and alike. Copepods or anthropds?

I seeded my tank for months with both getting ready for the mandarin. I figured that way, she'd have her choice, and adding a variety would hopefully make sure that a few species would take hold.

Copepods, they like the little guys best.

Thanks all. How little are we talking? My glass is covered by "little guys" (I'm talking little!). I have some anthropods too (lost a bunch from methylene green green when I had my ich issue). I might do what Cosmo did and seed the tank since it will be the sump on my 55 in due time.

I seeded my tank with pods from ebay, reefs2go, reef cleaners, live aquaria, and salt critters getting ready for my mandarin. Now my huge looks like its snowing with pods, and my mandarin is fat and happy;D

I can't even see how they would be able to survive off of such a miniscule creature (I guess you could ask the same of Whales). Out of all of the goby/blenny species, what would you all recommend for someone who has never owned one of those species?

Wow. Some serious cross breeding there. I bet you have a healthy pod population too.

They eat several thousand a day.
