Pods in Refug....What to feed them

    I'm adding a refug to my system and will have pods growing in there. My question is do I have to feed them or will they feed off of the Cheato I'll have in there?

    Some will feed on bits of detritus but most will feed on tiny bits of macro algae and vaious types of stuff that will grown in the fuge.I see no need to feed.They will take care of the food them selfs.

    If you want to boost their numbers and nutritional value, you should feed them. I would personally use a live phyto product if I wanted to encourage a nice healthy and plentiful fuge.
