Plug or no plug

    I just got some blue zoos from the LFS, on a plug, first time I got a plug, do I need to remove them from the plug and attach them to a rock???

    If they are on a rock that's glued to the plug than it would be pretty easy to break the little rock off of the plug and glue it on your rock. If the zoas are growing directly on the plug, I wouldn't remove them.

    like he said.... if they r grown on the plug leave it, if only on a piece of rock on the plug, take it off.. HEY, i sound just like mikejrice... LOL...

    Ya no rock, he just fragged me 5 zoos and plugged them, there growing fast, just didn't know if the plug would hinder them,,,, thanks guys. K+

    Zoas are toxic. If you decide to remove them from the plug use gloves. Avoid touching cuts, eyes, mouth, etc...

    I would leave them on the plug. If it is a ceramic plug you can snap the stem off the bottom using one pair of pliers to hold the disc while snapping the stem with another pair of pliers.
