    Very nice. As long as you like it and your rocks are stable and locked together so as not to fall over and break something I would say nice job.

    What defines "premium" live rocks?

    Looks nice. But the quality of the rocks looks to white like base rock. Quality will have more purple. The price you paid is good though. Premium will set you back at least $5.00 a pound.

    Just my opinion but these rocks are from wholesaler's tank that had no lights.
    I thought base rocks are not as porous and very heavy and I do have couple pieces that are baserocks.
    Mine are very porous and extremely light compared to the size.
    Color only means coraline algae, no?
    It's been almost a week but it's already beginning to show colors.
