    have you tried adding cyclopeeze or live brine shrimp to entice him to eat?

    Thats good to know. What I havent mentioned here is that I bought a Salon Fairy about a year ago. Same thing happened to him ....swam, ate, happy ....2 nights later, hidden, mucous ....and dead on the 3rd morning. This site is awesome ....a great learning tool. Thanks to all of you!

    I have not, Pink ....but when I fed yesterday (the 1st time), he sucked in bloodworms like a lawnmower. I fed last night a small amount of mysis/ bloodworm/ brine just to entice him, to no avail. Hes great today! I hope he stays that way!
