I bought a regal tang about 4 weeks ago...I QT it for 3 1/2 weeks and it never showed any signs of disease so I added it to the DT and at first it wasnt getting along with my sailfin...so i guess that stressed the regal and now she has caught ich...my question is I know they are fickle fish and no one else in the tank appears to have it...(i thought i didnt have it in the tank at all cuz i dealt with it a long time ago and no one has had it since) I have a UV Steralizer but I guess it must of hitch-hiked via some coral I added to the tank....anyway my question is, would it be better to leave the regal in the tank to try to fight it as long as its eating and swimming around (its also letting the cleaner wrasse clean it)...or go thru the stress of catching it and QT it with treatment...The tank mates have accepted it for the most part now, so the stress on the fish is pretty low in the DT...im just worried if I go trying to trap the regal or chase it with a net it will 1- stress the regal out too much and 2- stress the rest of the tank out and make them ich out too... :( what should i do?

Feed him quality foods and add HUFA's and Vitamins to it. Give it nori or romaine lettuce so they can graze all day (as opposed to fight).

    How large is your tank?
