    Pumps are pretty much pumps
allow me to stop for a moment to don kevlar and then continue. Make sure you're pulling out at least as much water as you're putting back or you'll end up with the water contents of your tank in your fuge. Good luck! (mods, this should move to DIY)

As I am learning now and fixing you want pretty slow flow through your fuge. By the sounds of your set up 10gph would work well. For a light you can use just about anything. If you dont mind ugly you can even use a clamp on utility light with a daylight bulb in it. Several companys also make really nice fuge lights. Heres my favorite for a small fuge.
