Mid to upper region. I don't think you will light shock it with those lights.

400 is fine, not your ca. Do you still have polyps on him???? You may have bleached him a bit. What about your buddies lights. What does he/she have?

this is purely an educational question daniel , but as i said, is 400 the lower levels of calcium? im learning too, so its for my knowledge also the reason im asking that. theres nothing confrontational behind me asking, thank you

i duno its hard to tell he is about 40% white and 60% red still...i know the cal levels are ok bc thats what he kelt his around 430ish i have 0 nitrates and 0 everything else salinity is 1.025...i have moved him down hope that works...he was running halides thats why i am questioning bleaching since they are stronger then my t5s

NONONONO I didn't mean anything like that at all. Believe me. I wasn't being a jerk in the least bit. It's just that you don't hear tone or see body language on here. Calcium in the range of 350 to 450 is acceptable from what I have read in the past when studies have been done. (I'll go google if you like but we can all do that so I don't know the exact names and dates) Anything above 350 or so the corals can't use anyway if this makes any sense. It's sorta like putting a whole pizza in front of a person. (normal person) It's there, and there's a lot of it, but we can only eat so much of that pizza.
