Pink tail trigger jumped out. Funny Story

I was in the study a little bit ago surfing 3reef when my wife went to screaming. I jumped up and ran in the living room and she's hollering a fish jumped out, a fish jumped out. So about that time here come the dogs and kids. The dogs were trying to get to the fish. The kids was getting in the way cause they wanted to see. I've got one hand on a coller and trying to scoop the fish up with the other. kids about stepped on the fish because they were trying to get the other dog away. the wife was froze in place hollering at the kids not to step on the fish. finally I was able to get the fish scooped up and dropped him back in the tank, dog slobber and all.....LOL. this was a hectic 30 seconds. Good to say though that he appears to be fine. I went ahead and fed them and he ate like nothing was wrong. So after everything got calmed down my wife told me that the fish looked like they were playing tag back and forth around the tank and out he come. well thats the end of my funny, exciting story. Hope you get a laugh.

 

Thats amusing Yamaharider - since the fish is OK

I can just imagine the situation, I dont have dogs, but I do have 2 boys that at the 1st sign of anything like above, would beat me to the scene of the action

Happy to know that the fish is ok and doing well.

 

I have been laughing about it since it happened. I was worried about him after it happened because Its about 5' from the top of the tank to the floor. when I got to him he was flopping on the tile making a clapping noise. sounded like the same thing when my wife pats herself on her leg to get the dogs attention and they come running. well they came running....LOL. Its all good now.

 

You're gonna need a clear mesh top...
