    Thanks. Yeah, I saw the 1st signs of cyano in the middle of sept. It slowly got worse up untill about Thanksgiving. Then I was away from home convalescing from surgery for a week. Came back home and it was everywhere!!!:eek: 80% on the sand and 50% covering the rocks. Then I started using a 1/2 a cup of BRS's high capacity GFO in a reactor. I changed it out every week and 4 weeks later....BAM!!! lol lookin good.

    That's kind of what I figured--and you just use a plastic tub? That was able to be drilled? How big of a tub did you get?

    Looking at your tank makes me wanna set one up like it. I really like the rimless look.

    What kinda lights? Bulbs? Actinics?

    You probably don't remember but, you were the one that pressured me to drill this tank and run a sump. lol

    This is the fixture 36"
    AquaticLife T5 HO 6-Lamp Light Fixture w/ Lunar LEDs
    It still has the stock 3 actinics and 3 daylights it came with except, I replaced the front one with a Gman actinic+ just to see if I could see any difference but I couldn't lol
