Thanks. I've been holding the head unit everywhere to see what I can do with it lol I was thinking about mounting in the wall next to the tank with a light switch cover around it but I don't think the wires are long enough.

I have glass doors all around my stand, and 2 beside it. I mounted mine between the doors.

I picked up a cheapo cabinet from Target to hold a bunch of tank stuff and placed it next to my tank.

When I got my controller I used some left over acrylic scraps to build an enclosure for it and mounted it on the side of said cheapo cabinet. There's usually two more temp probes and an ATO switch connected to it but I'm doing some software testing without them right now. So usually the wire clutter is twice as bad :-/ It really reinforces the fact that one day I need a fishroom. Too much equipment and wires - not enough space...

    Here's how it looks:

I was thinking about mounting it on the front of the stand but I have a 3 yr old who loves buttons and it would be in perfect eye level for her lol maybe ill just mount it in the stand. Kinda wanted more of a sleek no wires look though.

I wanted to mount one on the side of my stand as well. However, I have a ferret that will do anything to chew on rubber buttons.

I was thinking about mounting it on the inside of the door to the tank stand. I don't have doors on my stank yet though. lol.

Just on the wall, next to the tank. There's some furniture that goes in front of this area, though, so you can't really see it.

Just wanted to share what i made tonight to mount mine.
It holds my RKL head unit, mp40 controller, and my switch center.
Came out alright. This sits on top of my canopy.
