I've never had a small saltwater tank. Recently I started doing some research on a "pico-vase-2 gallons", because I wanted to have a small fish in it, I decided to go a bit bigger - 5 gallons. Now what's the difference between a pico and a nano, am I now in the nano range?

Nano describes any tank under 30 gallons IIRC
Pico describes any tank under 3 gallons IIRC

Thanks Steve. The vase I'm setting up will hold 4 gallons, guess I'm setting up a nano, not a pico.
