Ok, so I bought this 2.2 Gal wall tank on a whim because it looked totally cool. Well I have not been very successful at keeping anything alive. So in doing research on possibilities for this tank looking at everything from fish to reptiles, I ran across an actual name for it - Pico. So here I am. I would like to start a planted pico tank with this tank. Or even a reptile tank but can't seem to find a suitable reptile for such a small tank. Anyone have any suggestions? What types of "life" and how many can be safe in this 2.2 Gal tank?
Thank you for your time. :) (pic attached)

this site should give you some ideas 2009 AGA Aquascaping Contest

note your tank is 9L (liters) for comparison against the tanks listed.

well, I never owned a hamster before, but Hamster came into my mind, might work for 2.2gallon?
I know goldfish you can, you could even probably do leopard geckos, also I have seen some Reef tank that was 2.2gallon, but that will be really hard to maintain due to extreme water climate / condition change, but If you really keep your eye on your water paramesters and temperatures Im sure you can do a reef tank with a good lighting of course.

stay away from the goldfish its basically a death sentence when you keep them in such a small volume of water.

Yeah from that site sostoudt linked me to, it looks like people are using a lot of shrimp and the like. Seems like they are cleaner and you can have more of them than with most fish.

What concerns me is the Co2 - sounds complicated.

the Co2 isn't that bad but it can be expensive if you get a pressurized container, but most people with a tank your size would probably just use DIY co2, from a 2 liter bottle of yeast and sugar water.

I would say be careful to much co2 will kill your animals.

So Co2 is a must then? What is your advice on bubbler's and a filter for this size tank?
