How about a shrimp tank? Put several different kind in. :) Peterson/cleaner shrimp/blood shrimp would all be good choices!

thanks!! I was thinking about putting in a pair of sexy shrimp. I have a pair in my nano and i think they would be perfect in a pico. I def love the idea of going inverts rather than fish. Any other thoughts?

I would get some sort of moving softie/LPS. just to add to the life/look of the tank. especially if you are not going to have any fish

Looks like the tank is finally done cycling. I will be adding a CUC and go from there. Will update with additional pics tomorrow. Any suggestions on cool livestock (coral, fish, invert)?

    Update- First Inhabitants!!

Well, it has been about 2 1/2 weeks and the tank has cycled and all the levels look good. Using existing sand/water/and LR made the cycle time fast!!

I have added some inhabitants to the tank.

    1. - Clean Up Crew - Some small hermits, nsarius, and snails.

    2. - Very small frag of branching hammer coral. We found this guy in our large tank. we have quite a bit of the hammer and this little frag was floating around the tank. He needed a home.

    3. - Acan Frag - these guys werent doing so great in my buddy's tank so we figured we'd give it a shot!!
