yea, it may be a bit fancier than it needs to be. but now ive got it dialed in. once it slimes up, it will perform much better. I also got the UV sterilizer hooked up last night and the Coil De-nitrator online and cycling. the only piece of equipment left to be installed is the Calcium reactor. it wont be installed until I build the table over the sump. Ill also relocate the skimmer to the table as well.

I picked up two tangs from someone in alabama. Here they are in their present locations getting acclimited to temp and water. What magnificent creatures they are. to give perspective, the Sohal is in a Oceanic salt bucket. the other is just a household bucket but has a oval shape.

Nice choice of fish. I lost my Naso this weekend but I will be patient and get another one after my build.

AH!!! good eye PJracer. That was all taken when the sump was off so yes the water line was showing. with the system up and running, I have about 1" from the top rim. a little close for my liking, but oh well.

As of this morning, both fish are doing well. Yes, the second is a Naso. Lovely fish and always been one of my favs. they can act like a saltwater Oscar. Full of personality and very trainable. the Sohal is looks HUGE. ive never owned fish of this size or calliber and they both look AWESOME.

ReefBruh, Sorry for your loss. we had one years ago that mysteriously passed. this one is at least 6" to his tail. hopefully we will get some streamers soon.

First off, I love your setup design and your meticulous thinking. I'm wondering about your sump which you said is in you garage right? What are you going to use to top it? Are you worried about debris getting into the sump?

New guy, dont know if Meticulous is really the best word as ive had to make some changes throughout the build, but thanks! I will be putting my workbench above it in the next coming months then adding a maybe a Frag tank, putting hte skimmer on there and the Calc Reactor on there. Debris is not bad but I do get a few bugs in there they tend to end up in the same place every time and I jsut scoop them out once a week. maybe 4 or 5 june bugs.
