    yea man. I was beating that panic button for all it was worth!!! talk about major freak out. and there was nothing I could do. no way to catch that fat bastard, so the plan was made that if he laid down I would scoop him out and manually remove it. fortunately it was only stuck to his top lip and he got it off fairly quickly. Oh and Dinner was burned cause of me worrying about the darn fish.

    Chris, he is pointing to his favorite one. and he calls it by name (in his own way). little bugger is smart already knowing the common names of all the fish in the tank. he is 2 1/2.

    Tonight we noticed that we have not seen the Bangaii cardinal in a day or two. I know I have seen it, recently but have no clue now. it didnt come eat and was not out in the open like normal.

    Big boy is somewhere in the 7-8" range or so.

    Big boy = Sohal
    Fat boy = Purple
    Easy going = Naso
    Butthead = Pink spot goby
    Spot = Pyramid butterfly (has a black spot at the top of the triangle)
    Larry = Clown (yes I know it is female, that is from the origional owner)

    HAHA!!! I was wondering how long it would take.

    OK, here is the deal. they are made by a company called PLUSRITE. there are lots of reviews on various reef sites on them. most are good. some are not. Supposedly Plusrite are made bythe company that "invented" or "Perfected" the MH bulb. they are only available in the 14k and 20k spectrums in 250 watt single end bulbs. (sorry 400wt guys). they can be found on Ebay, BUT, the folks at 1000bulbs.com are good folks. they accidentally shipped me 14k when I orderd 20k's so they are getting my new ones out today for me and send me all the return labels for the 14k's. plus they said I could still test them a bit to see if I like the color.

    I will say this, they are BRIGHT compared to my old ones. I am new to the MH world and have no real experience with the radiums or other bulbs. I couldn't tell you jack squat about them.

    I figured for $40 ill give them a shot for 6 months and see how they do. if they do well, ill keep them, if not, ill go get something else.
