I really like it. it gives me a TON of flow. I do wish It was done in a way to give me a more random flow with an Ocean Motion device, but for what it is, given the overall tank, I can crash random currents against it with the Sea Swirls. mix in the Hydor flo's and the Koralias and it is pretty turbulent in the tank. if I had to do it over again, I would go with a loop again. I personally like them.

I'm just afraid of a potential leak in the lower half of a tank. I've heard stories of bulk heads blowing out. But its also convenient

AH dont scare me like that.

in ont too worried though. the back of the tank is protected and they dont have any extra stress on them.

GOOD NEWS!!! the Six line wrasse was out and about tonight. it was in and out of hte rocks and was not extremely shy when I got up close to the tank. it is a really fat one and hopefully over the holiday I can get a good photo of it.

and the other positive is that the pyramid butterfly ate flake Voratiously tonight. after a week and a half of it just taking in and spitting out the food, it ate very very well tonight.

we did have a bit of a lesson learned. DONT PUT A FRAG WITH FRESH GLUE IN DIRECT LINE OF THE RETURN OUTLET. it will glow the glue off of it making a few floating balls of cyanoacrylic gel and my purple tang tried to eat it. yes, it got stuck to his top lip! yes I PANICKED!!!! thankfully it was already starting to cure when it bit it and only his top lip got stuck to it. after alot of freaking out by both of us (and my wife and boys), it dislodged when he dove into the sand. WHEW!!!!!!!!! I fed right afterwards and he pigged out like normal.
