Thanks man. im just glad to be getting some growth. we are still battling a little Cyano issue. it will disappear overnight but will come back. I think its on its tail end now. Not 100% sure of its cause as I am not testing any Nitrates or Phosphates. I tested for them last week after having the lights out for 48 hours. I have had a bloom of pods, and now im thinking I can get the Melanurus wrasse if I can find one locally. some white pineapple sponges came in on a frag, and now I am having a sponge bloom as well in the tank. Ill take this as a good healthy sign and plan to try and angel again. Maybe a coral beauty this time.

Picked up some BRS GFO pellets last night from a local reefer. hope these can combate the cyano issue I am fighting. I siphoned out what was on the sandbed and brought the reactor online. Talk about EASY! I am loving my setup. Just hook the hose up to the available nozzle and turn her on. I have enough available water to blast the GFO out of the container! I had it all tumbling, but the package said just the the top layer gently tumbling, so I had to dial it way back. it is not alot of flow. im actually quite surprised as to how little it is.

anyways, we will see how the tank progresses. Last night I did test the water and got the following:

    Nitrate - 0
    KH - 10
Phosphate - .05=.1 (i can see a color change with the salifert kit, but hard to tell its match

    I didnt test anything else

we have had a good exposion of Coraline. it is starting to really take over the rocks. I do have a little bit of green grwoth though sporadically thru the rockwork. it is green tuft that the tank patrol will have nothing to do with. Lazy pigs.
