Nice setup! Those look like some beautiful tangs. What is your feeding schedule?

1/4 sheet of greens daily in the evening and Formula 2 flake in the evenings. home made frozen when I feel like dealing with it.

I am not a big feeder but im dosing vodka and will be feeding a bit more. I have ALWAYS fed the formula 2 flake and have had great success with it.

No, single of each...that is a combined image. used Gimp which is a freeware program like Photoshop.

Oh, I've got Photoshop. I know of Gimp...don't use it much. I see now, the line b/w the two pictures(at top). You matched up the rocks nicely.

Got another tank task accomplished today. Got the auto top off in place and the water reservoir installed. I dont have a photo of it in place, but it is at the end of hte workbench about 12 foot from the sump. I wanted it closer but coudl not get it under the workbench. anyways here is my $5 auto top off.

    1. a switch from a junk pellet stove at work. this tells the circuitry that the lid is open and stops the auger from turning. it is a 120 v switch so it is PERFECT.

    2. a baby bulb syringe that we have had for years that was getting nasty. donated by the wife. I cut the tip off a bit so it would fit on item 3.

    3. a green plastic garden stake cut to length.

I ziptied the stick to the switch and then stuck the bulb syringe on it. instant float just like the old toilet bowl floats (cant find just that piece at HD).

The switch is wired into an aqualifter pump under the workbench then to the reservoir. to ge the tubing all the way to the bottom, I drilled a hole in a pvc elbow and stuck it in there. worked like a charm!

Gravity was my enemy once I had it wet because when the pump shut off, the water continued to flow. so I rigged it up temporarily to the top of the workbench which is about 2" above the top of the water tank. teh upright piece of pvc is just to contain the falling stream of water.

all in all it works like a charm! and GHETTO TO THE MAX!!!!
