    12 hours :eek: DAMN! how could it take that long :eek: i get fedup within 20 minutes and just throw a crappy aquascape together and hope it all fits

    to be honest no idea lol dont know anything about them hence why i have not gotten one yet! Still doing my research!

    Red Eared Sliders are cool looking turtles but I'm more partial to non aquatic types so I would probably get a box turtle. They are much more tortous like and not having to clean a turtle #$%^ filled tank that stinks is a huge plus to me.

    agreed, thats the main reason i put my RES up for free on craigslist they are soooooooooooo dirty! i just couldnt keep it clean no matter what i did, i finally gottired of it, put it on craigslist for free, got a massive amount of emails mainly from colleges that supposedly werent going to experemint and only look, still didnt trust them, but then i finally got an add from a woman whose little 10 year old boy had been begging her for a RES for a long time and how he has done a lot a research so i decided that's the home for him :D and i got a letter in the mail with how happy they were with Frankie

    so i guess all in all choose a turtle with less mainatance especially with having a 180 to take care of, and i agree with the above that box turtles are really cool

    Well cant wait, tmrw is the day! Going to ABC reefs in syracuse to pick up my salt (40 bucks for a 160gallon bucket of reef crystals!!!) and a mag 9.5 for the return, it will be getting plumbed by me and a friend tmrw as well!!! CAnt wait, is it sunday yet??? okay time to watch cuse destory nova in t-minus 2 hours
