What is the standard life on a probe?
My ca reactor read 6.7 yesterday morning and 2.3 last night. Pretty sure the probe is going bad?

I actually read somewhere, that Digital Aquatics suggested replacing PH probes on an annual basis. The PH probe on my 92, has been functioning properly for approximately 2 years.

If my reactor was really at 2.3, then my media would be mush by now, right?

I think if your reactor was actually at 2.3 you co2 would be running constantly especially considering you have a flow of water running through it with a Ph of above 7...and your media would probably be mush.

Depends on the environment the probe is in and your cleaning schedule. I have read where a lot of places suggest replacing at a year. I would think your media would be mush also at 2.3.
