    that is a "GREAT" idea kill all the wildlife just so you can build a radioactive facility on a fault line...... BRILLIANT :p

    these people are about as dumb as they get and where is PETA during all this ( not an advicate but this should be one they fight )

    There is no way this will pass in Cali. The Coastal Commission for one will not allow it, nor will the LGU in the area. T

    It better not pass, but to think that a company would even consider that this would be ok is appalling. It seems to me that if we can put a man on the moon, a car on Mars, all the brainy mug scientists would be able to come up with a better method for mapping and analyzing the ocean bottom. I am all for the study to ensure our safety, living about 8 miles from the plant, but not at the expense of the ocean and its inhabitants.

    They will have to move heaven and earth to get this off the ground.

    IIRC you are just south ofthe Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary that extends from Marin down to Cambria. Too bad, that would have offered even more protection from this, though I suspect cutting off the MBNMS just short of Avila was due to Diablo Canyon.

    The lawsuits will start flying shortly.
