Petco hydrometer. Worth it?

    Yes but if you read carefully you'll see that they Auto correct for air temperature, not water. Mine is an auto correct, but if I measure two different water temps (same SG just let one sample cool off.)the reading will be a little different. Is says in the instructions it auto adjust for ambient air temperatures.

    Edit maybe it just the translation, because mine is made in china. I'm not sure.
    Ok did a google search and I see most ATC refractometers say they adjust for room or air temp.
    "NOTE: ATC or Automatic Temperature Compensation models allow for changes in the ambient working temperature without recalibration."

    just one of many I found.

    That's the one I have.. Nice and easy to use does the temerature correction etc..

    Also a supporting Vendor here.. Just wish I could order from the US site .. lol..
