Peredhil's Mistake

As of this morning, via saltwater top offs, my SG is on the high side of 1.026 line on my refractometer.

Ran my tests

NH3, NO2, NO3 and phosphates = 0 according to my liquid API test kits

Ca/Alk/Mg = 440/13/1470

ph: 8.1 (but it's early, I normally measure this around 5pm)

So that's fantastic.

I let my pumps continue their daily dosing throughout and obviously the saltwater top off water also contributed some amount of elements as well.

In any event, I'm well pleased.

I do not intend on raising the SG anymore that this. This is close enough.

 

at least you didnt get the "im immune to needing a water change" set of mind like i did oh let me tell ya that was really bad. i agree we only make big mistakes once. good luck

What do you mean? I still don't do water changes... I guess I'm still in that camp. I did maybe 1 or 2 in all of 2010.
