PE mysis to cycle?

just dug out a pack of mysis i forgot i had. its the cube feeding mysis. anywho with about 40 lbs of rock in my 75, will adding a cube or 2 kick off my cycle as if say i added a regualar raw shrimp... i mean whats the difference its gonna decay and correct? i also have some LR from my 20 in there. just looking at the best way to go about this ... thanks in advance.

last time i cycled was with a damsel so im kinda new to kicking off a cycle like this.

 

yes you can cycle with cubes

 

A cube of Mysis should do the trick.

 

You could also urinate into the tank...

Thanks! i just chucked one in their for good measures. I think that some reefers (new) should look into just doing it this way. i mean i know not all people can get a raw shrimp. So why not just goto a lfs get you these cubes and use 1 for a cycle and the rest for food.
