I did the research pj's are a peacefull fish, reef safe, Mouth brooders ect. .So I bought five, put them in a 35 gal that has been established for 1+ year. only a small clown and a gobbie that is extremely shy in tank with then. They have been eating well; problem is they dont MOVE; seriously they dont move more then a 1/2 inch in any direction. If their food doesnt float past their mouth they are not going to expend the energy to get it. They look totally healthy, and will eat. So is this normal???:-/ IF so, fine. If not how can I help them?

Completely normal. They are a nocturnal fish that likes to hang in the water column. Have you checked them out at night? Mine were much more active and ate better at night.

Now does any one know how old they are when they start breeding? These are pretty small yet but I cant find anything on age or size when breeding.

They will start to pair off and start to spawn after a few months I would guess 2'' or so as they only reach 3 inches.... exact size and age I don't know for sure but once they start to spawn they will spawn often......Good luck

Mine did the same thing...When I came down in the morning, before light. They were all over the reef. As they grew (about 6 mo old now) They move around alot more. Totally normal,
