    I hate those backgrounds too. One drip of water between it and the glass and it looks like crap. Just paint it. The Krylon Fusion Navy Blue is a perfect blue for the job. The patriotic blue is too light. In my 150 build thread my overlfows pictured there are Navy.

    I have decided to suck it up and buy vinyl. I prefer the look and don't want to see cords. I also can't paint...long story. Thank you for the help. Anyone know of online stores that sell the laminate vinyl that adheres to the tank? Basically sign vinyl.

    I just used some regular spray paint. Valspar black enamel. Worked fine used 2 coats. It was pretty easy as well.
