I got a Pagoda cup for free from a LFS aprox 6 months ago

It was in rough shape and most of the polyps were missing or they just didn't come out of the skeleton.

after about a month of constant care I managed to get it back to the point where i could feed the individual polyps, and they would come out partially from the skeleton.

I then was switched from working days to working nights and haven't been able to constantly care for the cup....It's back to being near death and I can't seem to get the polyps to come out so i can feed them now. I can see they are still in the skeleton of the cup because when i just have the actinic bulbs on the polyps glow green and the skeleton does not.

I am concerned that my hermit crabs are contributing to the declining health....I constantly have a group of 3-5 hermit crabs that will not vacate the cup coral. They are always on it, and i will occasionally pick them off and move them to the complete opposite side of the tank. Next time i look... they are back. It could also be why my polyps wont come out of the skeleton.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to get it back to good health...feeding tips, how to deal with the hermits..ect.

I have the cup placed in deepest part of the tank, moderate water movement, and moderate light. It seemed to be recovering well there before but now not so good.

I am sure it has nothing to do with my water params
