These skimmers almost look identical the pacific coast is a hair smaller but says it can handle 400 gal while the corallife only handles 225 gal and I read somewhere that they wouldnt use it on anything over 90 gal Does any one have any info or links to help my comparisons

Also does anyone know where I can get an octopus nw 200 everywhere I've checked has been backordered ?

maybe I should wait for the octo but the dual moded seaclones just arnt cutting it anymore:confused:

The Pacfic coast you linked to isn't even a needlwheel. It is a standard venturi. Manufacters ratings are totally subjective.

As far as the Octo I think - Marine Solutions Online Store
    or
    Octopus Skimmers
would be the place to get them now.

They pretty much have everything in stock except for the nw200.

The closiest thing I could find is the Pacfic Coast version. Same skimmer but another $60 in stock.
    ReefTankSupply.com

I would wait on the nw200 or cough up the cash for the recirc.
