Okay I am pretty annoyed right now. I recently bought a used drilled tank that came with an overflow and return pipe with the seal and washers to secure it in place. the washers were pretty stripped and water was dripping through the return seal. I went to lowes and home depot and apparently they do not sell the parts. I figured they were pretty common. If anyone has a pre drilled tank with the overflow unit and is familiar with the seal and washers I'm taking about please advise where I can get new ones. Thank you. 1029002018a.jpg picture by mkubkowski - Photobucket

Hang on to the ones you have and try a pool/spa place or a pond store if you have one.

well one of the washers broke so it NEEDS to be replaced. I cant believe that they wouldn't be a common part. seems pretty basic

Measure the outside diameter of the threads and the inside diameter of the hole to figure out what size bulkhead it is. Most likely 3/4" or 1".

Agreed, Glass-Holes.com dope aquarium stuff is the place to go. Those are standard plastic bulk heads. Just replace the whole thing. It will run you about $8 for each I think.

I order my plumbing from Marinedepot. They have the double threaded bulkheads so I can screw loc-line in to the return and a strainer in to the overflow.
