So my boyfriends mom was given these by her crazy neighbor. They belong to the neighbors son who has left on business and wanted them given away. Mom was instructed to flush them!!! How cruel! Im considering adopting them but need to know what kind of setup and care they require. Any help is appreciated!

I see a Blue or Moonlight Gourami and a Red Parrot fish

the yellow one looks like some type of Rift lake African Cichlid
But even with a better picture I doubt I would be able to ID exact species on that one

One is a blue gourami, another is a red parrot cichlid, and the yellow one is know as a yellow lab, it is found in Lake Malawi and is known for its aggresiveness. If you are planning on keeping the fish then the lab has to be by himself and requires very hard water and a ph of 7.8-8.0, a 20g will do and you could also add some other mbuna african cichlids. The gourami will get about 6in and the parrot up to a foot. They can be kept together but you will need a 55g for them, you could also add a few semi aggressive south american cichlids.

Thank you sirs for the assistance! I shall google them to learn more. May post them on the for sale/trade forum or return to a lfs if I decide not to keep them.
