I am in the process of stocking a 120 gallon reef that I plan on making SPS dominant down the line. Just a thought I had while making stocking lists of corals/inverts/fish . . .

What is or is there even a correct order to stocking?

In other words, is it best to put all the fish in first and have their bio load acclimated by the system, or is it best to put all the SPS in first and have the calcium/alk/mag/etc. levels all dialed in before the majority of the fish get in there?

    Thanks for your input!!

you usually want to have a 3 coral to one fish ratio to make a reef look good. for stocking order of fish add the least aggressive to most aggresive as you go along and theres not really an order to adding corals i just wouldnt add them all at once incase there is some problem that would kill the corals that you missed better to only loose 70$ on corals than 500$
