I wish mine had PE like that!! Beautiful Coral Coralline!

Ive had mine a couple months now, no growth and I never see polyp extension. Only reason I dont get too concerned is because it is still a nice pink/red color and I understand they can take a really long time to acclimate sometimes

    Stunning, very impressive growth.

I hope mine looks 10% of what yours looks like.

It is I agree. If I could keep it that dialed in all the time that would be awesome. " Need a bigger boat". :)

    Thank you, :)

I read an article on PE, a couple actually. Most long term experienced sps keepers believe PE is not reflective of either a healthy coral or a challenged coral.

Tons of variables go into why a coral does or does not show PE, with presence of PE or lack of really meaning nothing.

Growth and coloration are the best indicators rather than PE.

Mine does not like direct flow at all and that does influence it's PE more than anything.

    Thanks Chris,

It will they are fast growers when all else is good.

Judging by your other sps it will fit right in.

    Fantastic looking coral Cheryl.

The flow sounds reasonable since the polyps extend to gather food. In higher flow more food can be captured up to a point without expending the energy of extending the polyps.
