    What about a canopy, about 8" tall with the light installed in it & with an open back for air circulation. I could use screen mesh to prevent jumpers from getting out.

    One pc fan on each end of the canopy.

    That would work. I've done that on 2 of my tanks. I added small pc fans to draw heat out also. I had no problems with temp doing it that way either.
