OH NO!! power outage... what do i DO?????

    If you don't have a gas stove, I would wrap the tanks in towels or blankets, it really helps. My power was out for 12 hours the other day. I added hot water bottles and stirred the water up by dipping and pouring. All my fish and corals survived. My tank's gone for about 5 hours w/o power with no issues and me not even being there, but it was much warmer out.

    yes ill do that if the lights wont come back. hopefully it wont take much longer.. im getting a little distressed :-/ hehe..

    I take it you have an electric stove rather than gas? You can light a gas stove with a match when the power is out.

    where are you in ga cause im in woodstock and it snowed prob 4-5 inches and i still have power

    i live in norcross.. Aparantly its only in my area because i tried calling a friend and he answered the call and told me they still had power..

    im guessing something in my area must have had some sort of short circuit or something,

    It's funny because you got 4-5 inches and we had about 30" in the past week.

    that was the longest hour(?) ive been in.. hopefully the lights will stay..
