    Your link doesn’t work for me. But a UV sterilizer is used to remove free floating microscopic bacteria, fungal, algae, bacteria…etc. Do a little research and form your own opinion if you need one or not. I do not use one, but I might consider it if I did not use a skimmer and Ozone.

    Most noteworthy is that a UV light kills unwanted organisms along with the wanted…so be careful to use a timer and the proper wattage. Anyone telling you it’s a cure for ich is WRONG – I am so tired of hearing that. UV will kill free floating ich but can not detach the ich and cure your fish.
