Now I've really done it: Cirrhilabrus lunatus

I'm fairly certain the swim bladder was ruptured in shipment.

A tiny fish, relatively small bag, apparent high shock load in transit; ruptured.

I don't believe it was an infection, as waste in the bag was minimal. Also, her condition never really changed, until she started to become week and give up the fight.

I never got her to eat at all, let alone show any interest in food. Feeding anything wasn't going to happen.

 

Sorry to hear man ,sounds like nothin could be done to help her .But,you're absolutly right,these things do happen in this hobby and i'm sure you'll justify it with something new in the tank .

Well, some good news, I'm glad to report.

My phone rang this morning. DD on the line.

A new female will be arriving this Saturday. A little bigger this time too; 1 7/8".

 

Cool!! Way to go DD for making it right. Hope she does well.
