All I can say is WOW! These are some beautiful fish and some incredible coral. I've always liked wrasses with that body shape but they always seem to die on me. Anyway, good luck with the fish! (And from what I can see your tank is incredible!)

Thanks, and yes :( I feel the same way.

I've had the Tomini for ~10 months or so; he helps keep down the grow which results from the feeding the wrasses require. Some people might disagree with this philosphy, but I've never once fed any nori.

Thanks for the kind words. The tank still has a little ways to go as I continuing ridding myself of bound phosphates.

So not much change today with the female. It's not looking much better I'm afraid.

Our day is the other side of the world's night ;)
He needs to adjust to a new time zone.
    Patience grasshopper. :p

Well folks, I may have spoke too soon. I made the earlier post about the female watching her do crocodile death spins before the lights came on; apparently she was in a night slumber. There's improvement today; she can mostly stay upright.

DD emailed me back this morning (I sent them a message right away yesterday) and provided the insight that it's possible she simply has a bruised swim bladder, rather than ruptured like I suggested. I may soon be a believer of that; another day or two and we'll know.

She's still fighting; now I just need her eating.

Not much good news to report, I'm afraid.

    A video from yesterday:

No notable improvement. Shows no interest in food :(

So I'm at a bit of a crossroads...
How long do I give her?
    And
Do I try another female (there's 8 more currently in tanks at DD) or do I cease the opportunity to get some Johnsoni's for a resonable price? I've got a certain someone who'll get them for me...
