being such a small total water volume, it can get out of hand very quickly. The nano setup differs from larger systems in that there is no skimmer used, no sump, no dosing, no carbon etc. Nutrient export is maintained through frequent water changes. The more livestock you keep, the more water needs to be changed out. In my situation the tank is not yet fully stable, however I can keep the inverts happy by supplying clean water for them - of course you have to choose your salt mix carefully.
yeah thats right, no skimmer, not ever. Goes against most ppl's opinions on this forum. Other forums its the opposite, our hobby is a varied one.
