Now i can rest........

The bulbs are original in a coralife t5 dual linear 48". Not exactly sure how old they are but sure they need to be replaced. I bought the tank with the fixture from a guy a few mo.s ago. I know i need to upgrade lights also but i dont have coral in this tank yet. By the way do you think that this light fixture would be sufficient for a sump/fuge set up?

 

Yeah, that will work for a fuge light alright!

I grow my chaeto with a 13w home use CF bulb and a cheapo HD clamp on reflector. The chaeto grows well under it, and I actually have decent coralline growth on my LR in the sump too. I have no bad algae in the sump either. I have had this light on the sump for a good 6 months with nothing but good to say about it, so I know that light will do just fine.
