So the 2 year birthday of my tank is approaching. It's looking very nice and things are growing well with minimum maintenance. I will post pictures soon, just in the middle of a water change at the moment and it does not look very pretty. The Ecoxotic Panorama Pro's I won from 3reef Christmas of 2011 have really been exceptional and I am still blown away by the mixes of colors I can control.

Well I have not been on 3reef much in the past mainly due to being too busy....but I have been looking to add more pods to my system. My 6line does his job too well at keeping the DT free of "bugs" and my 10g fuge is doing well except I keep battling this weird floating cyano bacteria that I need to scoop out with a net every now and then. This is probably due to my lack of maintenance and I got rid of my Hydror SlimSkim since it was trash.

I am elementary school sub, and we purchase lots of fun stuff from Carolina Biology. They have lots of pods on their list of critters, some being benefecial to the reef tank at half the price LiveAquaria has to offer.

I was wondering if anyone could make some suggestions at what species I should purchase. I'd like to try getting a livable population of mysids or brine as well living withing my fuge.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated, thanks 3reefer heads!

well, how cute are your critters!! Thanks for sharing! oh, and I think it's ingtar's saying holy coralline batman :cheesy: I love bassets, my aunt and uncle have always kept them and one of their current pair is the same color as yours. What a good humanitarian to save the turtle! Loved the shot with snail afro.

Sorry, I'm just commenting on your pictures, I have no advice on pods....I'm sure there are many on here that can give you good advice. Try to hang out here more often!

I once had tigger pods in my fuge and they were cool, orange and big enough to watch with the naked eye :)

thanks for the comments all! ya i was looking at the tiger pods, did they reproduce well enough? my lfs has mysids swimming around all their tanks so this is what inspired me to add more. just not sure which to go for, liveaquaria sells over a dozen species it seems
