not one of my brightest moves!

Was working at the store today, and was talking to a customer about a fairly good sized blue line trigger. I was telling him how mean this fish was and how he attacks the turkey baster when we feed.

So we were talking further and decided to show him how aggressive it was. Without thinking I stick my finger into the tank and within a millisecond that fish darted across the tank, grabbed a hold of my finger and chomped down.

I screamed, pulled my hand out of the tank wiht the fish attached. The fish goes flying across the store and plops down on the floor. My finger is bleeding, fish flopping around on the floor, and customers (and myself) lauging our heads off!

the finger still hurts;D

 

like a wise philosopher once said; "stupid is as stupid does" ! lol sorry, i can see me doing the same thing! lesson learned itake it!

 

Ouch, you won't forget that for a while. Hopefully not much damage done to you or the fish?

When I put my had in the tank, I always keep an eye on the Blueline. He is sneaky, fast and will NOT hesitate to bite the hand that feeds.

lol i used to hand feed a moray eel but that sort of mental image made it prohibitive when he grew up. When diving i still finger waggel big guys out of holes though.
