Not cloudy, but many particles

That would be ideal for me. I have an OF box hanging off the back, is that your set up? How do you have that working?

 

What lighting do you have? I've been using 10k Metal Halides and can see all the fines in the water, but in other 14k-20k lighting, I think it's not as noticeable at least what I've seen on other people's tanks? My new 14k Phoenix's are coming in soon, and I'll test it.

Anyways, filter socks do clear out the fines for me, but I'm just too lazy to wash or replace them... even though you can make them for a few cents each, and just toss them as you go.

 

Just to update you, the 200 micron filter sock seems to be working for me. It may be something you will want to try.

I'll keep it on for a couple more days, and when all this stuff is gone, I'll take it out, if it comes back, I'll leave it on.
