well this morning couldn't of got any worse.... three more fatalities :(...
i feel my fish are committing suicide. yes you may have guessed it, they all decided it would be a great idea to try out carpet surfing... so now i add to my list of carpet surfed fish

    Both!! my clownfish:( breading pair...
    and my banana wrasse
cant say i wont miss my clowns, they had the best personalities. Aww reminds me of the old days...

has anyone experienced something like this?

Very odd. Usually something drastic has to be going on for a clown to jump.

    How big is your tank?
    What are your other inhabitants?
Do you have a Ground Probe?

Sounds like you might have a mantis shrimp. That could scare any fish out of the water if he is big enough and hungry enough.

Might take a little time, but a red flashlight at night should be able to confirm.

wrasses are known jumpers , so thats not a total surprise. clowns on the other hand arent. so thats a bit odd. but i did recently have my female jump. but around that time, i also found out i had a mantis in the tank. which we spotted just by fluke. id take a good look at your lr when feeding. if you have one, they might poke their head out if you feed mysis. i had a clicking noise too that i could never figure out. so try and see if it is a mantis.
