For the last 3 days my AqauC hasn't produced any skimmate. Is this normal? The collection cup is clean and so is the skimmer itself. Usually I'm emptying the cup every two days of the nasty stuff. I haven't added any new chemicals to water.

I would check the pump for it. I had a new Hydor skimmer and the pump was not working properly. It was still bubbling but not enough

Check the air intake too. It gets encrusted with salt creep which will block airflow. Also clean out the black water injector as well. Mine isn't skimming either, but that's because I only have rock, sand and a couple snails in the water, no waste really being produced.
Do as schmakel said too, check and clean your pump.

Unscrew that plastic screw and take your long cleaner and clean inside of there and clean your pump after that I would say you could take off the entire unit and soak it overnight in vinegar.

That's exactly what it appears to be doing. It's bubbling, but not nearly as much as I know it usually does.

I'll also try to unscrew it to. Thanks for advice.

Make sure the tube leading into the collection cup is clean. You probably mean that it was when you said the cup is clean. If the tube gets a coating of slime it stops working.

Collection cup is clean. I unscrewed the valve and cleaned that with the brush so from here I guess I wait. There wasn't any blockage in the sprayer thing. My suspicions is that the pump is going out, but I'm hopeful this will do the trick.

that's odd, my remora is a monster on skimming junk out. If the cleaning doesn't work bro, maybe soaking it in vinegar will do the trick!!

I have the Aqua C Urchin and a remora. Every six months i take it out rinse it good with hot tap water and put it in a bucket of warm RO/DI water with baking soda...run it for 24 hours. Gets out all the oils on the spray nossil and the organic matter inside surface of the skimmer. Veniger would work aswell but stinks.

Also clean inside of the pump with baking soda and tooth brush. changing the impeller in the pump might be helpful in some situtions.

Make sure the injector stays clean. I used to clean my AquaC 120 every other week wich included cup, air valve, and spray injector to work optimally.
