Hi, i have a few questions about this cycle. my tank has been running for more than 4 days now. i got good temp, and salinity level. Its a 40 gal breeder with a 15 gal sump, and i added 35 lbs of live rock, now my substrate is not live sand,, i used sugar fine. and i have been reading alot about this process, so to speed it up i bought two domino damsels and a few hermit crabs to start the cycle,, the thing is i have been testing the ammonium, nitrite, and nitrate level and they are all low.

    Howdy Texan.

It could take several days before you register any numbers. Normal.

You're watching for an ammonia spike first. Just give it some time.

    EDIT:
    Does "low" = 0?

Oh, might have been a typo, but you're testing for ammonia, not ammonium.

Go super slow. Time usually = knowledge, which is incredibly important. Keep up the good work!
