    its been setup about a month, i used the guys water, rocks, i purchased dead sand,


    should i buy a CUC to clean up the detrius from the back? i cannot get to it due to my rock scapes..

    there was detritus built up when you set the tank up, and you didn't siphon it out?

    I think you need more flow, add some power heads, remove as much detritus as possible and perform some water changes... your rocks are experiencing some die off and will continue to do so until the tank has completed cycling...

    are you running a skimmer? you'll need something to export your nitrates- water changes, skimmer + biopellets, macro algae in a fuge, etc. will all work.

    I have cheatos in the display. Running a skimmer atm. Just cleaned my filter sock and filters etc. How often can I do a water change. I'm dosing instant ocean nitrate remover right now. I have no room for a fuge
