    I rather like the night mode. it offers me a different bit of circulation in my tank from the rest of the day. I guess it is personal preference on it anyways. at any given point in the day I may have up to 10,000 gph running around inside my tank.

    What does the night mode actually do? I didn't notice a difference.

    That explains it. I am already running at least 1/3rd power with an LED dimmer attached to the power supply.

    I really like the night mode.. My tank seems to enjoy the break from the flow... Just my 2 cents worth...
