The set up is a 34 gallon Red Sea MAX 130. 2 55w Actinic bulbs. No corals but love the lights on. Started at 2.5 hours on and been moving it up 15 minutes every 2 days. Fish seem to like it. Can I run the lights longer? Do I need to keep with what I am doing? Or is this too much way too fast?

yeah it shouldn't hurt to leave the lights on more than that....i'm kinda new and imo i wouldn't leave the lights on for more than 6-8 hrs a day but it should n't hurt anything to just set em at 6hrs now

10 to 12 is pretty common for a reef. are you planning on adding corals?

yes, my lfs guy says I should be able to add corals 3 weeks after setup. Which will be the 17th. I am planning on adding 2 then. A leather probably a Toadstool and a Green Star polyp. I am planning for all easy corals at first and then when I'm confident getting a torch coral. I have now aspirations of going anywhere past moderate level on coral. No anemonies. And only easy reef safe fish. Only got a 34 gal tank anyways. Should I build up to 6 to 12 or just go for it?

If you don't have any coral it shouldn't matter. I would just run them 8-10 hours a day just to give the fish a regular day/night cycle to get used to.
