if you get an erectus make sure they are already eating frozen mysis or else youll have to ween them. also they are quite expensive if they are colorful. also they need larger tanks like at least a 29.

Con has bought a pair of erectus. They are currently in quarantine, before going into his DT. Eating frozen, mysis, I believe.

Connor, do the seahorses a big favour and feed them at least 2 times a day.
You have nothing else in the Qtank for them to feed on so once a day is not enough.

Mix it up if you can. Feed both PE mysis and something like Hikari. Even add some spirulina enriched frozen brine in there (like Hikari).

I don't feed any live adult brine, they are like lint bushes... pick up anything and everything, good or bad.

From what have read, I would feed in smaller amounts, but 2 or 3 times a day.

Connor, one a day is not enough. Varying the time of day for feeding won't change that.
Feed at least two times a day, possibly before school and then after supper.
Then siphon the remaining uneaten food from the tank after the last feeding for the day.
